DataTurbine and GLEON

In collaboration with GLEON partners, OSDT team members deployed DataTurbine at multiple GLEON sites including North Temperate Lake (NTL, Wisconsin, US), Lake Sunapee (New Hampshire, US), Lake Annie (Florida, US), and Lake Erken (Sweden). In July 2008, OSDT team members and NTL staff jointly developed a dedicated testbed to investigate DataTurbine performance under a number of real-world conditions, including network partitioning, intermittent connectivity, power outages, link errors, packet drops, network congestion, and multiple traffic workloads. This testbed is operational.
